Standard Consultation

$250 for a 50-minute appointment

The Australian Association of Psychologists Inc. (AAPi) recommended fee for a 46–60 minute consultation in 2026–2027 is $340. Our fees are set below this rate and are reviewed periodically to balance accessibility with the provision of a professional and sustainable service.

Funding Options

Medicare Rebates

Clients with a valid Mental Health Care Plan and referral from a GP, psychiatrist, or paediatrician may be eligible for Medicare rebates under the Better Access initiative.

  • With a valid Mental Health Care Plan and referral, you will receive $149.05 back from Medicare for a standard 50+ minute psychological therapy session with a Clinical Psychologist (as of July 2026). Based on the current consultation fee of $250, the out-of-pocket cost is currently $100.95 per session.
  • Medicare rebates are available for up to 10 sessions per calendar year.

Medicare Claims: After appointment and payment, you will be provided with a receipt containing the information needed to submit a Medicare claim. For more information, visit the Services Australia website: Making a Medicare Claim.

NDIS

Self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants are welcome. Please ensure that your plan includes sufficient funding to cover psychology services.

Private Health Insurance

Some health insurance policies cover psychology services. Please check with your insurance company as to what you are eligible for.
