Over the years, I have worked across a range of settings, including government, community, and private practice, providing therapy, assessments, and support to individuals, families, parents, and schools. I have supported children, adolescents, and adults through a wide range of experiences, including anxiety, neurodivergence, learning differences, trauma, school-related challenges, and life transitions. I have also worked in teaching and research roles at several universities, focusing on child development and mindfulness.

As both a Clinical Psychologist and Educational & Developmental Psychologist, I draw on an understanding of mental health, development, learning, neurodiversity, and the broader contexts in which people grow and develop. This helps me consider not only the individual, but also the environments and experiences that shape their everyday lives.

Having lived and worked in Japan, Australia, and Singapore, I have had the privilege of connecting with people from a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences. These experiences have shaped how I work as a psychologist and deepened my appreciation for the many ways people experience the world.

This led me to create Yuzu Leaf Psychology, a practice dedicated to supporting individuals and families in ways that honour individuality and diversity. Yuzu is a citrus fruit commonly grown in Japan, known for its calming scent, resilience, adaptability, and unique qualities. The name reflects my belief that each of us grows in our own way, and that our experiences, identities, and differences deserve to be understood and valued. It also reflects my hope that Yuzu Leaf Psychology offers a space that feels grounding, calm, and affirming.

Outside of work, I enjoy gardening, cooking, exploring foods from different cultures, and spending time with my family, including my curious twin cats, Maple and Jasmine.
